Our United States Football League
Welcome to the OUSFL 2019.The teams that comprise the OUSFL are a tribute to the United States Football League that was in operation in the mid 1980's. Back in the mid 80's, I was in my mid 20's and my love of the NFL game was broadened when the USFL was born. In short, I loved the USFL and still do after all of these years. The league was began in 1983 and ended in 1987. Ever since I was a kid, football simulation was always
something I enjoyed and used many different methods to simulate games. After the demise of the USFL in 1987, I continued to simulate the USFL and still do to this day at the age of 60. I know, I'm crazy...lol.
I have decided to add a slight
change to our league lineup. I liked the
Baltimore Stars but did not want to drop a
Philadelphia franchise so I added the old
World Football League team, the Philadelphia
Bell. I also chose to go with the Portland
Breakers instead of Boston or New Orleans.
For the rest of the teams, I included all
of the USFL teams over their 4 years of existence. Recently, I have expanded the league to include other now defunct pro football teams so we now have a 32 team league. New division alignments have been created for the 2017 season.
